Le Tour de France – Send Me a Cycling Photo

Yesterday I watched the start of Le Tour de France at the new Rapha Cycling store in New York. In addition to having some amazing cycling gear and Stumptown Coffee, they have an exhibition space for showing cycling photos and a big flat screen TV showing looping slideshows of cycling images.

In honor of Le Tour, I want to put together a post of amazing cycling images. If you have any (your own or somebody else’s), please send them (or a link to them) to me at aphotostudent@yahoo.com

The photos don’t have to be of professional cycling, just something to do with bicycles.

  1. If you’re at all interested in le Tour and you’re ever in France, this museum has amazing images and videos, plus photos of the past Tour de France champions, their bikes and jerseys. Unfortunately it doesn’t have an online photo gallery.

I took this one on one of the few days with snow in Madrid, back in January, this year:

I did this over the last two years mostly in Atlanta—just for fun.

Hey James, Charles Hartman Gallery in Portland (the home of Stumptown) has a great show up now of bicycle photos. You can see them online here: http://www.hartmanfineart.net/exhibition/gallery/43/. Not sure if it’s timed with the tour but worth checking out.
